Nanny Island

Nanny Island is a beautiful place where nannies can come to visit with friends and relax. No diapers, runny noses or tantrums need tending on Nanny Island.

Rules for Tranquil Living on Nanny Island

With over 1090 members and no end in sight to the number of great nannies we will be welcoming to the Island, we thought it would be beneficial if we posted some basic guidelines to make sure everyone has the best time possible during their stay.

1. Play nice. Have fun. Nanny Island is a place to make friends and offer support. We do not tolerate flaming and we reserve the right to vote those who do off the Island.

2. Do not post photos of your charges unless you have permission from your employers.

3. Please, no more than 10 pictures in your photo gallery. We do apologize for the restriction but space is tight on the Island especially as we are growing. The site will start getting very slow if we gobble up too much bandwidth. Those of you who already have more than 10 photos, we would appreciate it if you would pare them down to 10.

4. Please no job postings.

Back from INA ...

Nanny Island had a wonderful time at the recent INA conference in Las Vegas!  I enjoyed getting to know so many new faces and meeting up with old friends.  The workshops were excellent!  Congratulations to Nikki Gribble, 2012 INA Nanny of the Year, from Bethesda, MD.

After some quick catch up from being gone for the week, I'm looking forward to meeting up with some friends in Philadelphia and summer vacation.  Next stops will be the DEMA convention and Nannypalooza!

Hope to see many of you there!
